Create a new user via the copy function
On the Main Domain controller we are going to create a new user
Decide what group they are going to be part of.
Mine will be a user in Intake 2012

I will be copying a user, so right click and select copy.
My user will be call 007, so in the name field type 007 and also do this in the user name field.
Click next and give that user a password, and tick the box next to user must change password at next log on.
And finish

Now we need to create a home folder where the users document and settings will be stored.
I have a separate file server which hosts these files
I browse to the data folder and create a new folder called 007

Right click on the new folder and open the properties.
Select the sharing tab, then click share this folder
Place a $ after the name of the user so that it will hide the folder
Then proceed to permissions, you should see that "everyone" is shown
Place a tick next to Full Control
Apply
Then move on to the security tab

As you may have noticed i have blanked out my domain names for security reason and have replaced it with "highschool"
We want to add the user we have created 007, so select add
type the name of the user in my case 007 and click check name, it should fill in the rest of the domain detail and underline it when its right
Then click full control again on 007 and apply

My users are set up to use drive N:\
So next to Connect all i need to do is change the user name from the user we copied from to 007
Your user is now ready to go.
